The rotary drum granulator is a kind of granulation equipment commonly used in the production of fertilizers such as compound fertilizers and organic fertilizers. It can be used for cold granulation, hot granulation and the production of low, medium and high concentration compound fertilizers. The rotary drum granulation line can use various raw materials, such as urea, dap, kcl, tsp, ssp, ammonium sulfate, phosphate, gypsum, lime or other materials.

The characteristics of the rotary drum granulation line:

1.Use steam heating to increase the temperature of the material. After the material is pelletized, the moisture is low, which effectively improves the drying efficiency;

2.The ball formation strength is high, the ball formation rate is up to 70%, there is a small amount of returned material, the particle size of the returned material is small, and it can be re-granulated;

3.The cylinder body cancels the traditional scraper setting, and adopts a special rubber plate lining or acid-resistant stainless steel lining plate, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and has a long service life.

The process of the rotary drum granulation line:

In the process of producing organic fertilizer, the  rotary drum granulation line can be divided into three sections: fermentation section, compound process section and granulation section. Organic solid wastes such as animal manure are fermented, decomposed, dehydrated, deodorized, and then crushed and sieved into powdered organisms. The sieved powdered biological organic matter enters the granulation section. After the material is granulated, cooled, sieved, and packaged, it becomes bio-organic fertilizer.

1.Fermentation process of the rotary drumgranulation line:

Organic solid wastes such as cow dung, chicken dung, pig dung, etc. are used as raw materials and are added to the mixing pre-fermentation device to mix, ferment and discard the organic materials.

2.The compounding process of the rotary drumgranulation line:

(1) Use a pulverizer to pulverize the ingredients (straw, straw, bean cake, bone meal, etc.).

(2) According to the formula of different products, fully mix the raw materials. Mix well in a blender.

(3) Add organic materials with low moisture content such as straw powder or peat to control the moisture content.

3.The granulation process of the rotary drumgranulation line:

(1) Drying, crushing and sieving the fermented organic material.

(2) In the process of making organic fertilizer, according to different soil conditions and the needs of different crops, inorganic nutrients and concentrated organic matter and trace element minerals are added. According to the formula, the nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and the fermented materials are stirred by a computer and transported to the granulator for granulation.

(3) To dry the formed particles, the temperature of the drying should be controlled.

(4) The dried material enters the cooler for cooling.

(5) The cooled materials are screened, the unqualified materials are granulated again, and the finished products enter the automatic packaging system for packaging.
